My life’s path

Hello and Welcome to Yogananda Lives.

In the 1980’s I visited a bookstore called the Bodhi Tree in West Hollywood California (unfortunately that store no longer exists). I discovered the book Autobiography of a Yogi. After reading the book I became inspired to visit Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades California. I listened to a sermon being given by the late and great Dennis Weaver (yes from gun-smoke). Since then I have been on the path of Yoga and personal transformation. It has been a long and winding road and several times I have wandered from the path and found myself in a quagmire of self delusion and stagnation. With the blessings of God and Guru I managed to find my way back to the path after years of wandering astray with no real spiritual focus. I have established this site as personal reflection of the path which I am currently on. My goal is to stay immersed in the thoughts and vibrations of Paramahansa Yogananda as I progress on the spiritual path. The many lessons I have received from Guru serve as the inspiration for my words and thoughts on this site. I hope that I can achieve by writing and staying immersed in Yogananda’s wisdom an inner strength and determination to stay on the path.

Thus this site is more intended for my own personal development and growth.

If it serves as an inspiration to others that is all well and good!

Sincerely,

Gordananda
